Julie Delpy: “It’s used to be a big handicap to be a pretty woman

Julie Delpy, who began her career at the age of sixteen with Jean-Luc Godard, has been active for several decades as an actress, director, and screenwriter. She recently received the Honorary Dragon Award at the Göteborg International Film Festival.After working with renowned filmmakers such as Krzysztof Kieślowski and Agnieszka Holland, Delpy contributed to the creation of the unforgettable “Before” trilogy—Before Sunrise (1995), Before Sunset (2004), and Before Midnight (2013)—playing the role of Céline.
