After a fully virtual 2021 edition, Manchester film festival, a BIFA qualifying film festival, looks forward to welcoming filmmakers to Manchester in 2022 for an in-person and in-cinema celebration of independent film.
The festival has developed a reputation amongst the independent film community as an exciting place to showcase their work, an event that brings filmmakers together for a weeklong celebration of independent cinema. Meeting and networking with other film creatives and industry professionals is a key aspect of the festival. With industry representation from Altitude, Curzon and One Bright Dot, the festival continued to develop its ties with key industry professionals. We had a chance to interview Neil Jeram-Croft, the festival director, on the festival and its plan for the next edition.
