Just 120 miles south of Los Angeles/Hollywood, the San Diego International Film Festival (SDiFF) has quickly become a favorite of industry insiders and celebrities. The festival is dedicated to providing new perspective through the experience of film. The mission of the festival is to use the experience of film to explore issues of global impact, to create dialog, and ultimately to develop empathy and understanding in an increasingly diverse and complex world. We had a chance to interview Tonya Mantooth, the festival director, on the festival and its plan for the next edition.
